One morning, three days after his peculiar encounter with a peculiar but kindly older man, Crocker might awaken to find a parchment envelope slipped under his door, written on it in a neat if spidery hand:

Denzel swings his lanky body onto the unicorns back. The unicorn was lucky that Crocker's obession was in fairies and not unicorns.

In the distance, a castle can be seen on another hill, its spires rising toward the flawless blue sky overhead.
